Ginger Monkey Number 31

With our comfy seats and small kids’ corner everyone can enjoy a visit.

We really wanted this spot to feel like a proper escape from the rush. Grab one of the window seats, they’re brilliant for just chilling out and watching Chester do its thing outside.

With the warm, rustic feel inside and the smell of fresh coffee in the air, it’s the perfect, no-pressure zone to sit back, unwind and properly enjoy your brew.

We serve only the best coffee roasted by ourselves. Or if tea or hot chocolate is more your thing, we have some great options, both hot and iced.

Coffee and Food

At Ginger Monkey, every cup of coffee is made with care. Our beans are roasted in small batches and brewed by baristas who know how to bring out their best flavour. Whether you like a rich flat white, a smooth latte, or a classic Americano, you can count on a great cup every time.

Our food is just as thoughtful. We serve fresh breakfasts, delicious brunches and light lunches made with produce from trusted local suppliers. You’ll find comforting favourites, plant-based choices and plenty of treats to go with your coffee, including our much-loved cakes.

Come by for a relaxed meal, meet friends, or take a quiet moment for yourself. Good coffee, good food and good company are what we’re all about.

Dog Friendly

We love dogs at Ginger Monkey and they’re always welcome. Our furry visitors get just as much attention as their humans, with free dog treats ready and puppuccinos made to order.

The coffee shop and courtyard are great spots to relax with your dog, whether you’re stopping by for a coffee or staying for brunch.

We keep water bowls topped up and make sure there’s plenty of space for everyone to sit back and enjoy the day.

If you’re out on a walk or meeting friends with four-legged companions, we’re the perfect pit stop. Good coffee, good company and happy tails guaranteed.

We roast our beans in-house to bring you the freshest, most ethical coffee in the North West.

Our Courtyard

Step outside and find a little pocket of calm in our courtyard. It’s truly a hidden gem, tucked away from the rush of the main street.

It’s a bright, open space that’s perfect for soaking up the sun with your coffee or sharing brunch with friends.

Dogs are always welcome and there’s plenty of room for families too. Whether you’re catching up, working from your laptop, or just taking a quiet moment, the courtyard is made for slowing down and enjoying good coffee in good company.

Our Coffee at Home

We’ve been roasting our own coffee since October 2021, it’s all we serve in Ginger Monkey 31.

If you love our coffee as much as we do, you’ll probably want to drink it at home and in work, or wherever you are! You can buy your favourites whole bean or ground to your preference.

Our Local Suppliers

We love working with small, independent producers who care about what they make as much as we do. Wherever possible, we choose local suppliers from across the North West to keep things fresh and full of flavour.

We’re proud to work with a mix of small, independent producers from across the North West who share our love for great food and drink. Our fresh fruit, veg and eggs come from Hoole Food Market and our bread is baked by Henllan Bakery in North Wales. We use milk from Peckforton Dairy, tea and chai from Teadrop and syrups from William Fox in Liverpool. Venables Butchers in Boughton supplies our meat and our hot chocolates are made with Harry’s Hot Choc from Nantwich.

Supporting local producers means everything we serve is fresh, full of flavour and made with care.
